KCSD display seized equipment
KERN COUNTY – Around noon on Monday March 27th 13 businesses in the Bakersfield and Oildale areas were targeted by the California Department of Justice Bureau of Gaming Control.
The result of this operation was the seizure of 8 “Fishing gambling machines,” 116 computer gambling machines, and $2,000 in currency.
At this time no arrests have been made.
The investigation was prompted by citizen complaints both in and around the various businesses.
The KCSD says, “The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information on this investigation they are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.”
