KCSD displays gun and ammo
KERN COUNTY — On Friday, the KCSD and probation officers conducted a warrant sweep that spanned the Boron and Mojave communities.
The warrant sweep also included parole and probation compliance searches.
As a result, the KCSD made 19 arrests — 6 felonies and 13 misdemeanors. 18 of the 19 were booked.
In one particular arrest, officers went to the 15900 block of Edwin Street and arrested 53-year-old Kevin Jones and 19-year-old Keshawn Jones.
The elder Jones was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and resisting arrest.
The younger Jones was arrested for possession of a high quality magazine and allowing a child or prohibited person access to a firearm.
