LODI — Things took an interesting turn today when a Lodi Police Officer on patrol on Kettleman Lane noticed a suspicious individual in the parking lot.
The individual, later identified as Kenneth Johnson, “fled on a bicycle and into a nearby retirement community.”
There he dropped his bike and continued on foot, which proved to be his undoing when the officer caught up.
Another officer arrived to provide assistance and Johnson was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, prowling, and a warrant for failure to appear.
