Wanted Suspect Arrested after Killing 3 More in Fresno Shooting Spree

FRESNO — On Thursday night, Fresno police officers responded to the Motel 6 at 4245 N. Blackstone about a reported shooting. Once there, they discovered 25-year-old Carl Williams wounded by gunshots. Williams died at CRMC.
The victim was an unarmed security guard. The FPD identified 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad as the shooter and he remains at large. Authorities caution the public not to interact with Muhammad if they see him, but rather contact the FPD.
UPDATE – Cory Taylor, AKA Kori Ali Muhammad, was arrested on Tuesday after shooting and killing three other men in downtown Fresno in what appears to be a random act of violence.
Police Chief Jerry Dyer said, “He is not a terrorist, but he is a racist.”

ABC30 – in his video, Muhammad said he was “on a mission to liberate my people.”
Muhammad fired 17 total shots from a .357 Magnum in his rampage on Tuesday afternoon.
The three men who were killed are identified as 34-year-old Zachary Randalls, 37-year-old Mark Gassett, and 58-year-old David Jackson.
