REDDING — On April 24th just before 11 PM, an officer noticed a stolen vehicle driving through a residential neighborhood off Lake Boulevard.
The driver — later identified as 20-year-old Seth Michael Thompson — was stopped in the area of I-5 and South Bonnyview and arrested without incident.
He admitted to gaining possession of the vehicle the previous night with full knowledge that it was stolen.
A background check revealed Thompson to be on Post Release Community Supervision as well for assault with a deadly weapon. As it turned out, he’d just been released from prison the day before.
