Jesse Martinez (L) and Curtis May (R)
MERCED — On May 19th, officers with the department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit arrived on the 100 block of West 16th Street to investigate two gang members who’d fled from them.
Jesse Martinez (24) and Curtis May (19) were both found in the home they’d gone into, and a probation search was conducted. At that point, officers discovered a loaded 22-caliber handgun, ammunition, and drugs in the home.
Both were arrested and booked into Merced County Jail for “possession of firearms, ammunition, possession of narcotics and gang enhancements.”
