FRESNO — On Tuesday, the FPD began a “gang operation” in which they responded to a call of shots fired at 424 C Street and, as they approached the area, came upon the reported suspect’s vehicle where the shots were suspected to have originated.

A chase ensued but lasted less than a mile when the fleeing vehicle crashed into a parked car. 2 juveniles fled the scene, armed with guns.
Police immediately set up a one-mile perimeter and apprehended one juvenile as he attempted to sneak through. Then, with the help of a K-9 officer, they located and arrested the other juvenile hiding under a car.
In addition, 22-year-old Reina Hakim, the driver of the car, was arrested for evading an officer.
All 3 gang members were charged with shooting into an inhabited dwelling.
