Gymnastics Instructor Arrested on Sexual Abuse Allegations

EL DORADO COUNTY — On May 18th, the County Sheriff’s Office received a report of continual sexual abuse of a child from 1999 to 2004.
54-year-old Keith Willette of Cameron Park, a gymnastics instructor, stands accused by one of his students of molesting her for several years on end.
Willette was arrested on May 25th and is housed at the El Dorado County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office reports in a press release that Willette has worked as a gymnastics instructor “in El Dorado and Sacramento Counties, as well as in Ohio, Minnesota, and Washington. He is also a professional photographer.” The Sheriff’s Office also believes that, due to the nature of the case, there may be more victims yet to be discovered.
