MONTEREY COUNTY — 34-year-old Esteban Diaz of King City has been found guilty of “domestic battery against the mother of his children.”
On May 8, 2016, Deniz allegedly came home drunk and got into an argument with the woman — identified in a Monterey County press release simply as ‘Jane Doe’ — over who was supposed to buy milk.
When he got into bed, he began screaming at her, grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her out of bed, as all the while she tried to scratch at him to defend herself.
Deniz has been sentenced to 40 days in jail and is under orders to attend domestic violence courses.
