LAKE COUNTY — The Sheriff’s Department has positively identified 30-year-old Leonard Patrick Franklin Jr. of Clearlake as the primary suspect in a burglary incident which occurred the week of June 30th.
A suspect had broken into a residence and taken several items yet, fortunately, his picture was captured on surveillance camera.
The Sheriff’s Office sought help from the public in identifying Franklin, who was subsequently identified through tips and follow-ups by the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit.
A warrant for Franklin’s arrest was issued by Lake County Superior Court.
On July 13th, he was taken into custody and booked into Lake County Jail. His bail is set at $50,000.
