Ryan Krebs and Joseph Baker
ATASCADERO – Last Thursday, the APD contacted two men who were in their vehicle in the Walgreen’s parking lot at 8005 El Camino Real.
One of the suspects currently had two warrants outstanding. The subsequent search of the individuals and their vehicle yielded meth, heroin, and cash.
While officers were conducting the search, they received a call of “shots fired” on the northern side of town. The APD determined that the call was fake and surmised that it may have been placed by a third suspect in an attempt to divert them from the drug search.
40-year-old Ryan Krebs was charged with possession of narcotics for sale and carrying a switchblade, as well as for the two warrants on him.
27-year-old Joseph Baker was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed knife and a parole violation.
