Incident occurred near here
PASEDENA – On July 29, 29-year-old Jose Gabriel Diaz Servellon pulled his pickup truck in front of a woman walking near Maple Street and Fair Oaks Avenue.
He then grabbed the woman and drug her to the ground. He also threatened her life as her tried to pull her to his truck.
A good Samaritan driving by then pulled over and apparently this scared Diaz Servellon, who drove away without the woman.
On Wednesday Diaz Servellon was charged with kidnapping, assault and criminal threats. If convicted of these charges, he faces up to nine years in state prison.
Prosecutors have requested bail to be set at $500,000.
