SONOMA COUNTY — On Thursday, August 3rd, a medical marijuana facility near the Sonoma County Airport was robbed at gunpoint and a significant amount of cash and marijuana stolen.
At around 7 PM, just as the last employee was leaving for the night and walked to her car, she was approached by a red Honda accord. She got into her car and locked the doors.
One of the suspects got out of the Honda, wearing black clothing and gloves, and approached her car with a handgun and ordered her to go back inside with him.
Once inside, another suspect — described as a black male adult — joined them. The two suspects demanded to be taken to the vault, where they forced the woman to the ground and tied her wrists and ankles with zip ties.
The two stole an undisclosed amount of cash and marijuana, then fled in the Accord. The vehicle is described as a newer model in a dark shade of red, with paper plates and tinted windows.
Luckily, the victim was able to free herself after the suspects left and call police.
