Luis Flores Lopez
CHINO — Although it was a commercial medical building, authorities began a surveillance on Wednesday on the 12500 block of 10th Street.
The San Bernardino Human Trafficking Task Force believed that ads for backpage.com were drawing customers to the location for purposes of prostitution.
After observing “a large amount of males” coming in and going out of the building, authorities obtained and served a search warrant. Once inside, they “rescued two victims.”
They also discovered two men who apparently were there to pay for sex. They were detained and released.
39-year-old Luis Flores Lopez was arrested and booked on charges of felony pimping and pandering. His bail was set at $100,000.
The SBSD says, “The investigation is ongoing. Investigators believe there are other unidentified victims related to this investigation and urge anyone with information to contact the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force at (909)387-8400.”
