Folsom man arrested for hit-and-run death of bicyclist

FOLSOM // 27-year-old Justin Greene of Folsom has been arrested for the hit-and-run death of a 41-year-old man on a bicycle.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, September 15th, at around 2:30, police received a call alerting them to a bicyclist lying in the road along East Bidwell and Oak Avenue Parkway.
Folsom PD reports that “although there were no witnesses,” physical evidence led police to identifying the vehicle — a bluish-grey 2014 Chevy Cruze. The car was later found at a residence in Folsom, where it was determined that Greene had been the driver and had been under the influence of alcohol.
Greene was arrested and booked at the Sacramento County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.
