LINCOLN // 24-year-old Tony Rangel of Ceres found himself in hot water after being caught with a set of burglary tools.
At about 1:30 this morning, a Lincoln PD officer pulled Rangel’s car over for multiple vehicle code violations. Rangel was eventually detained after it emerged that his license had been suspended.
The officer then searched his vehicle, to which Rangel had consented, only to find “a set of bolt cutters and a box full of car keys, a number of which had been ‘shaved’.”
Rangel was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of burglary tools. He is now housed at Placer County Jail.
