Green Tree Boulevard and Seventh Street
VICTORVILLE — On Tuesday afternoon, on the 14300 block of Bear Valley Road, a man alerted an SBSD deputy and told him that his car had been stolen with his 5-year-old daughter inside.
The suspect, 35-year-old Claremont transient Jessica Sandoval, was known to the man. He had agreed to give her a ride to the bank and on the way there made a personal stop.
When he exited his car, Sandoval got into the driver’s seat and took off with the little girl still inside.
She drove to the victim’s house where a family member was able to get the girl out of the car before she sped away again.
Police stopped Sandoval near the intersection of Green Tree Boulevard and Seventh Street and arrested her, charging her with kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and vehicle theft.
