Sheriff’s Office opens homicide investigation into 21-year-old’s death

OROVILLE // Police have begun a homicide investigation after finding 21-year-old Lorenzo Paz II dead at home.
On October 23rd at around 10:30 AM, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man dead at a home on the 2900 block of Greenville Street. Responding deputies found Paz in the house, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
The case is being investigated as a homicide, with an autopsy scheduled within the week.
