CHICO // Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a hit-and-run incident on October 4th.
That night just before 7:30 PM, calls came flooding in to the police department reporting a hit-and-run between vehicle and person at the intersection of Mission Ranch Boulevard and Esplanade.
Responding officers found the victim, identified only as a 67-year-old man, lying on the ground suffering from “abrasions and a head wound.” He was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.
The vehicle in the incident is described as a maroon sedan, possibly a Honda, which headed eastbound on Esplanade.
