CHOWCHILLA // On October 29th right around 2:30 AM, police spoke to two people on South Chowchilla Boulevard after finding them standing next to a silver Chevy sedan and a black Honda moped.
The moped’s owner, who apparently lived about a quarter of a mile away, was contacted and said he’d last seen it about thirty minutes prior.
At that point, the two subjects — 46-year-old Jonny Lopez and 24-year-old Jimmy Kobzeff — were taken into custody for vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
