Modesto PD Detectives investigating shooting in Ustach Park area

MODESTO // Police are investigating a shooting after finding a fatally wounded 21-year-old man on the Northeast end of town on the night of Tuesday, November 21.
At around 8:45 PM, officers arrived at the Ustach Park area, near the intersection of Hillglen Avenue and Bear Club Lane, after receiving a report that someone had been shot. They found a 21-year-old man in the road suffering from “at least one gunshot wound.” Bystanders at the scene had been attempting life-saving measures when officers took over and attempted CPR.
The man was eventually transported via ambulance to a local hospital where, unfortunately, he passed away as a result of his injuries.
Modesto PD reports that crime scene detectives are in the early stages of piecing together the chain of events, as well as a motive. As of yet, no suspect has been identified.
