WINDSOR // Police are investigating an incident of sexual assault after a woman reported being groped by a man near Brooks Road on December 2nd.

At around 5 PM, the woman (50) was walking near Brooks Road and Arata when the suspect — described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male, standing around 5’8″ with a stocky build — approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks. He also reportedly made sexually suggestive comments.

The suspect then ran away, headed north towards Arata. Although the woman gave chase and was unable to keep up, an onlooker in a white plumbing van caught up to him and stopped him. The driver of the van exchanged words with the suspect, unaware of what had just happened, and the suspect went on his way.

Windsor PD is asking that anyone who is aware of the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to contact the station at 707-838-1234.
