Madera Police investigating South A Street shooting of local teenager

MADERA // Police are investigating the shooting death of 16-year-old Isaiah McGuire, who was gunned down on the 200 block of South A Street on December 17th.
At around 5:30 that afternoon, officers arrived on South A Street to investigate reports of a shooting. That was when they discovered McGuire.
McGuire was rushed to CRMC in Fresno where, unfortunately, he passed away as a result of his injuries.
Madera PD and SVU have begun an investigation into the incident and believe, at this time, that it is isolated and not connected to another recent shooting near 3rd Street and Willis.
