GARDEN GROVE – Early on Friday morning two area businesses were robbed. First, at 5:11 am, the Yam Hang Bakery on 9372 Garden Grove Boulevard was hit when a suspect came in, showed a gun and demanded cash.
Then, at 5:24 am in the 7-11 on 12752 Brookhurst Street, two suspects entered and again demanded cash. They threatened to shoot the clerks working there.
Arriving officers were pointed to the direction where the suspects had fled, and the two were soon detained across the street.
Employees from both businesses positively identified the suspects as the robbers.
18-year-old Jesse Alexander Becerra and a 17-year-old minor were arrested and booked – to the OC Jail and Juvenile Hall, respectively.
