Deputies arrest Ukiah man after burglary-in-progress call

UKIAH // Deputies have arrested 30-year-old Ryan William Jackson after responding to a report of a burglary-in-progress on Oak Knoll Road on January 2nd.
Deputies arrived on scene just before 6 AM and spoke with both the homeowner and the suspect, during which they learned the homeowner had been awoken by a noise coming from his garage and had caught Jackson walking out with some of his belongings.
The victim confronted Jackson, with whom he was already acquainted, and reported the incident to the Sheriff’s Office.
Jackson was arrested at the scene without incident and booked into the Mendocino County Jail on $50,000 bond.
