HOLLISTER // Police are seeking information leading to the identities of two armed robbery suspects who hit the Quikstop Gas Station on December 12th, 2017.
At around 12:30 AM, officers arrived at the Quikstop on San Felipe Road after receiving word of an armed robbery that had just taken place. The clerk recounted that a lone suspect entered the store, waited for the other customers to leave, then pulled up his shirt to reveal a handgun tucked in his waistband and demanded various items, ultimately making off with cartons of cigarettes, CA Lottery scratch tickets, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Later that same day, the stolen scratch tickets were cashed at a 7-11 on San Benito Street by a different suspect, who was then seen leaving in a silver early 2000’s model station wagon with a moon roof, blue front dealer plate, and a black front bumper (shown right).
About an hour later, more of the stolen scratch tickets were cashed at another Quikstop on Church Street in Gilroy. This time, both suspects were together and left in the same vehicle.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian adult of unknown sex in their 20s, short in stature with a medium build, and a tattoo of red lips to the left side of the neck. The suspect was also reportedly wearing a grey flannel jacket and jeans.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s of average height and weight, clad in a dark hat, black hoodie, and black pants.
