HIGHLAND – Near midnight on May 31, 2017, the SBSD received a call concerning a shooting in the area of 7700 block of Golondrina Drive.
Once there, they discovered 23-year-old Jorge Moises Grimaldo suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead after being taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Grimaldo was shot in front of his home by someone whose identity remains unknown. The shooter reportedly drove away in a white SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition.
As the investigation continues, the SBSD has released this statement – “Anyone with information regarding the identity and or whereabouts of the suspect, described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 20 years of age with the moniker of “BLAZE,” is asked to contact the Homicide Detail, Detective Mark Green at (909)387-3589.
