Santa Rosa PD investigating Gardner Avenue shooting, victim drove self to urgent care

SANTA ROSA // Police are seeking the primary suspect in connection to the shooting of a 17-year-old male in Santa Rosa on January 15th.
Just before 8:30 PM that night, officers arrived on the 900 block of Corporate Center Parkway after receiving a report that a person had been shot. The victim, who’d driven himself to the location, was seeking care at an Urgent Care Facility. He was then transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigation revealed that he’d been shot on the 2500 block of Gardner Avenue.
A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance “Take Back Our Community” Program for information leading to the identity and arrest of the suspect.
