Covelo man in custody on felony arrest warrant issued out of Oregon

COVELO // 74-year-old Charles Pina has been arrested following the issue of a felony arrest warrant out of Oregon in November of 2017.
On January 17th, just before 11 AM, a Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived at Pina’s residence on the 77000 block of Logan Lane with the warrant, which had been issued by Washington County for four counts of first-degree sexual abuse and carries a bail amount of $1,000,000.
Pina happened to be home at the time and was advised of the situation, after which he was taken into custody and booked at the Mendocino County Jail.
