Known gang members arrested on drug, weapons charges in Merced

MERCED // Police have arrested two gang members after developing information that large amounts of marijuana were being sold out of a home on the 100 block of San Clemente.
On January 18th, Merced PD’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit arrived at the home with a search warrant and spoke with 34-year-old Ouseo Saelee and 34-year-old Saan Saechao. Officials then conducted a search of the house, discovering several marijuana plants, a handgun, ammunition, cash, and a large amount of packaged marijuana.
Saechao was arrested for sales of narcotics, being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, conspiracy, and gang enhancements. Saelee is charged with sales of narcotics, conspiracy, and gang enhancements.
Both have been booked at the Merced County Jail.
