MADERA // Police have arrested a man after his odd behavior during a traffic stop led to the discovery of a stolen gun.
On January 20th, two officers patrolling the area of Sharon and Wilson conducted a routine traffic stop and noticed the passenger sitting in back on the righthand side — later identified as Aaron Michael Hall — behaving suspiciously. When he tried to quickly exit the vehicle, he was told to sit back down. Later, he refused to exit the vehicle even when told to do so.
Hall was then formally detained and searched, at which point a loaded revolver was found hidden on his person. As it turns out, the gun had been reported stolen out of Fulton County, New York.
Hall has since been arrested and booked.
