El Dorado County student arrested for making threats against school

EL DORADO COUNTY // A student has been arrested after the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office learned of threats being made towards a local school.
On February 2nd, deputies were notified that a student at Marina Village Middle School had been making threats, which was subsequently investigated through a coordinated effort with Marina Village Middle School staff. The suspect, as well as several witnesses, were also identified and interviewed.
The student was then removed from school and arrested for making criminal threats. He was then booked at the El Dorado County Juvenile Hall.
