Lassen County Sheriff looking for Herlong stabbing suspect

HERLONG // The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for stabbing suspect after an incident on the morning of February 23rd.
Witnesses reported that the suspect — identified as 24-year-old Chelsie Fee of Herlong — and the victim were traveling in the same vehicle along County Road A-26 when, for no apparent reason, Fee began hitting and stabbing the victim in the neck area.
While the vehicle was still moving, the victim climbed over the driver and out the window. When the driver stopped, Fee bolted from the vehicle on foot. The driver then went back to tend to the victim and contacted emergency medical services.
Deputies arrived just as the victim, identified only as a 25-year-old man, was being treated by EMS personnel. He was then transported to a Reno area hospital, where remains in unknown condition.
Chelsie Fee is currently at large and wanted for attempted murder. Because the weapon used in the assault was never recovered, she is considered armed and dangerous.
Fee is described as approximately 5’7″ and 250 lbs with blonde hair and hazel eyes. The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office notes, however, that the above photo is two years old and her current appearance could be different.
