FOLSOM – Although the two young ladies were not from the area, they had plans of unlawfully taking clothing items from an area store without paying for them. More particularly, they were after bras, a lot of bras.

On Friday night 22-year-old Richmond resident Blanca Quintero and 19-year-old Pittsburg resident Antanae Welch entered the Victoria’s Secret store in the Palladio shopping mall and left with two large bags of bras without paying for them.
One of the suspects attempted to pepper spray a store clerk who confronted them about their misdeeds. The duo escaped, but not for long. With a description of their vehicle, Folsom Police soon spotted the getaway vehicle, stopped it and arrested both thieves.
Both were booked on charges of robbery and conspiracy. Quintero was also charged with using tear gas to commit a crime. In addition, she has an outstanding warrant for theft from San Mateo County.
