GUALALA // A 27-year-old woman has been arrested for felony domestic battery after an incident on the 45000 block of Pacific Road on March 2.
Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the residence and spoke with the victim, identified only as a 33-year-old male, through whom they learned that he and the suspect shared the home and have a child together.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Kimiyo Jones of Gualala, had reportedly assaulted the victim by biting his arm after an argument escalated into physical confrontation. Deputies noted that the victim had injuries to his arm consistent with the account.
They found Jones in a bedroom and took her into custody. She is housed at the Mendocino County Jail on $25,000 bond.
