BAKERSFIELD – On Tuesday afternoon a call came in to the KCSO about a man vandalizing cars on the 2700 block of Alturas Drive. His tool of destruction was a screwdriver.
Calls also provided authorities with a detailed description of the suspect. Responders discovered 29 vehicles that were damaged. The suspect threatened two people with his screwdriver.
On the 200 block of Panorama Drive they arrested 37-year-old Joey Head for his connection with this incident. He was charged with threats, brandishing a weapon, and 29 counts of felony vandalism.
The total estimate of damage that Head caused is between $13,000 and $15,000.
