TURLOCK – In the early hours of Sunday morning the TPD received a call about a man who had been struck by a vehicle and was lying in the road, possibly deceased.
Officers arrived at South First and D Streets when they encountered the injured victim who later died at an area hospital.
Further investigation led police to not only conclude that the incident was intentional but that two identified persons were responsible.
18-year-old Jose Alonso Gutierrez and 19-year-old Bailey Martin Sanchez were arrested and charged with murder (Gutierrez) and accessory to murder (Sanchez).
