SANTA CRUZ – On the Sunday evening of April 22 at the Outdoor World store, a man wearing a black shirt and gray hat stole items from the store.
After being confronted by an employee about returning the items, the suspect threatened the employee and hit them in the face with a skateboard. After receiving a tip from someone in the community, police arrested 29-year-old Santa Rosa resident Joshua Erwin for the crime.
Erwin was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and theft.
