CITRUS HEIGHTS – Just after midnight this morning (Wednesday) a 911 call came in regarding a residential burglary in progress in the 6300 block of Wexford Circle.
The caller noted noted that they saw three black males entering their neighbor’s backyard, and subsequent “sounds of a physical altercation.”
Arriving officers spotted two black makes attempting to walk out of the front door of the residence, then return inside, fleeing towards the rear. They heard a gunshot as they approached.
38-year-old Pittsburg resident Lorinzo Haley was arrested with the help of a Folsom PD K-9. He was charged with home invasion robbery and assault
The other two suspects escaped. The CHPD noted, CHPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed anything related to this incident or may have additional information, to contact the Citrus Heights Police Department at 916-727-5500.”
