CLEARLAKE – Last Wednesday the LCSO, armed with a search warrant, entered a home in the 15000 block of 32 Avenue and discovered drugs and a loaded, stolen .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
42-year-old Eric Jeffrey Klein and 26-year-old Alexis Rose Coulter lived at the residence.
Detectives found 40 grams of black tar heroin along with packaging materials and scales.
A safe at the house contained 4 ounces of meth, 20 grams of black tar heroin and $2,500.
The duo were both charged with possession of heroin and meth for sale, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of controlled substance while armed. Klein was also charged with being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm.
A four-year-old child also lived on site. 37-year-old Adam James Gates and 29-year-old Shanel Alisha Blevens lived in a trailer in the backyard of the residence, also with a child. All four adults were “charged with crimes associated with child endangerment.”
Klein is being held on a bond of $500,000 and the other three have bails of $75,000 each.
