UKIAH – Early last Monday morning a residential burglary occurred in the 1400 block of Knob Hill Road.
A concerned neighbor reported the presence of a suspicious white van parked at the residence. By the time deputies arrived the van was gone.
Later that day, at 5:15 pm, a sheriff noticed a van matching the description of the
one provided at the burlgary site.
A driver and a passenger exited the van but a third man stayed inside, “hiding amongst a large amount of items int he van.”
K-9 Leo persuaded 48-year-old Santa Rosa resident Eric Campbell to exit as well, “after a brief struggle.” Campbell left a loaded firearm behind in the van and was “wanted on a no-bail warrant for a parole violation in Sonoma County.” He also came out with a controlled substance in his possession.
47-year-old Dee Ann Eddy drove the van and 47-year-old Colbert, WA resident Audra Dorsey was her passenger. The van held several items from the Knob Hill Road residence.
Charges among the group include burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and resisting arrest.
While Campbell is held on a “No Bail” status, Eddy’s bail is $50,000 and Dorsey’s bail is $15,000.
