HOLLISTER – 42-year-old Francisco Zendejas had 11 warrants out on him on May 23. On that day, on the 300 block of Paul Drive, police finally nabbed the suspect.
However, the suspect did not go gently into that result. In fact, he at first did not answer his door when police arrived to take him to jail.
Most of the complaints against Zendejas involved disturbance calls. Hence, orders against him “prevented him from being at the residence.” The suspect “screamed at neighbors, drove recklessly and abuse the 9-1-1 system.”
So, on the afternoon of May 23, police units arrived, surrounded his house and obtained a search warrant.
Over an hour later police entered, discovering Zendejas “hiding deep within a crawl space inside of a closet.”
The HPD booked Zenejas on his warrants as well as resisting arrest and violating restraining orders.
