KLAMATH – On June 6 the DNC DA’s office filed a murder charge for a death that occurred 4 years ago. On April 15 2014 the Yurok Tribal Police discovered Romeo “Bo” Glaze corpse around Highway 168.
Glaze’s family reported him missing on March 26 of that year.
An investigation continued over the years to the point where authorities finally now filed the murder charge. As a result, 25-year-old Michael Clarence Loftin is their suspect.
Loftin’s arrest occurred without incident. Furthermore, he does not have a bail set.
DNCSO Sheriff Apperson states, “The investigation was an example of doing the job correctly, as opposed to just quickly. Law enforcement often can’t control the tempo of a case. Variables include cooperation of witnesses, sorting out facts from speculation and locating evidence, just to name a few.”
