Helpful Neighbors in Bishop Assist to Stop Burglary

BISHOP – Once again, helpful neighbors helped to stop a residential burglary. It happened on June 10 in the afternoon.

The neighbor called from the 200 block of E. Elm Street where they noticed something not right. They knew their neighbor was out of town, and they saw something “out of place.”

Arriving investigators discovered that indeed there had been a burglary. In addition, they discovered the resident’s truck missing.

They entered the missing truck’s info into the database to where the search for it began.  As the investigation progressed, authorities identified two suspects.

On Monday citizens began phoning in information about the stolen truck. Before long they spotted the truck and detained, and then arrested, the pair inside.

James Hubbs found himself arrested, with Tiara Kinney. However, Kinney was not one of original two the police sought.

That was Heather Botello. Police went to a mobile home park that day looking for Botello. They found her there with stolen property.

Finally, Hobbs and Botello’s charges are residential burglary, stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property. Kinney’s charges are possession of stolen property and probation violation.
