SAN FRANCISCO – A home invasion burglary occurred on March 26 on the 1000 block of Goettingen Street.
The female victim reported that “a man came into her home, grabbed her, took her cell phone and threatened her.”
With hammer in hand, the suspect demanded the victim open a safe. He then kept her in the bathroom while he continued through the home.
Investigators arrived after the suspect fled. The SFPD said “investigators were able to analyze collected evidence and attain search warrants.”
Finally in June 13 at 11:55 am officers “identified and arrested the suspect” on the 1300 block of Egbert Avenue. 28-year-old Tabari Akeem Austin faces charges of home invasion robbery, kidnapping, grand theft and false imprisonment.
In addition, the DA’s office filed enhancement charges of “armed with a deadly weapon.”
