LAMONT – The KCSO secured a warrant for 11024 Myrtle Avenue on the suspicion of stolen vehicles on the property. As a result, they ended up discovering five stolen vehicles there.
This occurred on June 20 at 7:45 am “after recent felony arrests associated with that address.” The agencies involved in this operation included –
- CHP’s Auto Theft Task Force;
- Kern County Code Enforcement;
- Kern County Probation Department, and
- California State Parole.
The reovered vehicles included –
- 1994 Chevy Silverado;
- 2000 Chevy Silverado;
- 2002 Cadillac Escalade;
- 2004 Chevy Silverado, and
- 2006 GMC Yukon.
These vehicles came from Arvin (2), Kern County (2) and Bakersfield (2).
Of the eight people on site detained, four were arrested on unrelated charges –
- 29-year-old Ryan Hoyle;
- 59-year-old Darlene Gonzalez;
- 63-year-old Ronnie Balderas, and
- 29-year-old Michael Cornejo.
In summary, Cornejo had a felony charge for violating his parole. However, the other three had misdemeanor warrants.
