3 on 1 Bar Fight Becomes 3 in 1 Jail

SONORA – A 3 on 1 bar fight near South Washington and Linoberg Streets ended up with the trio in jail.

The fight occurred on June 11 just after midnight.  Apparently a 57-year-old Sonora man acted disrespectfully, whatever that actually means.

Then the trio chased the victim out of the bar and began working on him.  The onslaught continued as the victim lay on the ground, suffering head injuries that required a hospital visit.

Consequently, the three arrestees are –

• 26-year-old Ariz Jacques;
• 44-year-old Joseph Garcia;
• 26-year-old Avery Smith.

As a result, their charge is  felony battery and each of them has a $50,000 bail. Likewise, the SPD announces that “the investigation is ongoing.”
