CAMERON PARK – The EDSO recently went to a home on Emerald Court for a welfare check of a juvenile.
Once there, a patrol sergeant “noticed suspicious items….associated with manufacturing a controlled substance.”
Detectives obtained a search warrant and returned to the residence. Then they discovered a “clandestine meth lab,” and the meth to go with it.
Investigators also concluded that the lab has been in operation for several months, with the juvenile living at the house.
They arrested 31-year-old Nicholas Brown for suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance, and child endangerment.
