SAN LUIS OBISPO – According to The Tribune, the suspect has “14 known aliases listed on the Megan’s Law website.”
43-year-old Jonathan Oscar Davis is a registered sex offender convicted in 2007 for annoying or molesting a child.

Seems as if he may have been at it again on June 25 at a store on the 1000 block of Court Street.
A caller told the SLOPD that a man “grabbed his daughter’s hair” and left after a witness confronted him.
Armed with a description of the man, officers spotted and stopped him in the 700 block of Higuera. The witness then positively identified Davis as the suspect.
His new charges are battery and annoy or molest a child under 18 years of age. His bail at first was $5,000.
The Tribune also reports that “A second complaint was reported to San Luis Obispo police. (This happened) after Davis touched an 8-year-old girl on Sunday in the downtown area, officials said.”
The SLOPD FB page notes “four other reports” filed against Davis. They then amended his charges to felonies based on Davis’s prior history. His bail is now $100,000.
