JURUPA VALLEY- The RCSD arrested five people following an investigation into a stolen vehicle that led police to a “chop shop.”
On June 29, Jurupa Valley deputies tracked a stolen truck to a residence on the 5500 block of Agate Street.
Upon arrival, deputies located two additional stolen trucks in what appeared to be a chop shop. At a chop shop, people disassemble stolen vehicles for the purpose of selling the vehicle parts.
Police arrested Charly Baker, 30, Marisol Magallanes, 29, and Saul Silva, 28. The trio share charges of operating a chop shop, possession of stolen property, and narcotic sales. Also, Michael Weber, 52, and Anthony Jimenez, 47, also face unrelated charges.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies said an investigation into the case is ongoing.
